Oriental Aquamarine Biotech India Private Limited has established a manufacturing facility to manufacture the Packed Bed Bioreactor (PBBR) and Stringed Bed Suspended Bioreactor (SBSBR).

The company has a Nitrifying Bacterial Consortia Production Unit and a Microbiology laboratory with state of art equipment to culture the bacterial consortium. Some of the equipments include:

  • 2 No's of 1000 litres basic fermentor
  • Vertical Autoclave
  • SpectroPhotometer
  • Weigh balance
  • pH meter
  • Salinometer
  • Cyclomixer

Why Recirculating Aquaculture Systems

Aquaculture hatcheries currently use the open larval rearing system. The open larval rearing systems have been found to have certain shortcomings. These are illustrated in the figure below and explained subsequently.
